A Message from the Editor

Dear readers,

The Nigeria story that I promised yesterday has to be delayed a few more days. It’s astounding, but we want to get it just right before publication.

LifeSite often publishes good news stories, but they are often missed by readers because of the extra attention given to the unsettling revelations in other stories. Today’s report on the impact of Baby Walter is really inspiring. The report on Indiana Governor Mike Pence’s action is a welcome breath of fresh air generated by an unusually principled politician. In Ontario, Canada, a rapidly growing trend of confident, unabashed exercises of parent power is an encouraging new development that we hope parents around the world will imitate. Today’s report, Meet 10 people who changed their minds about abortion, reveals that we should never give up on anyone and that miracles can and often do happen.

The Spring Campaign is finally gaining steam. Donations have now reached $65,000. Thank you! We have not yet reached the half way mark, but there is a realistic chance, based on past experience, that we will reach the campaign goal. Now is the time for everyone to join in and give a gift of whatever you can afford. Please make a donation here. We truly appreciate ANY amount.

God bless,

Opinion

When I became pregnant after rape, I wanted an abortion. But now I can’t imagine ever rejecting this beautiful child.

Let's face the truth: the child shares no fault in what happened and has a right to live -- every child has a life to live, especially children born out of rape.
